Learning Made Real

Learning Made Real: Talks to real educators about relevant issues for students, teachers, and school communities. Facing a teacher shortage, how do we recruit more candidates into the noble profession of teaching? How do we remove barriers to increase diversity in recruitment? How do we cultivate great teachers? What is the value of collective voice and bargaining? Besides administration, what types of leadership opportunities are available to teachers that offer professional growth and expanded reach? We want you to join us to explore these important topics as we make your learning real. Learning Made Real is a podcast created by the Classroom Academy, a two-year paid teacher residency/Apprenticeship program where candidates are matched to co-teach alongside expert, lead teachers allowing them to apply their graduate level learning with students all day, every day. Classroom Academy partners with SUNY Plattsburgh, SUNY Empire, and Russel Sage Colleges graduate education programs.
